What They Share
Both machines run K-PULSE™ — the same Utility Patent Filed drive system. Same GIVE Switch. Same Motor Guard. Same five stroke options. Same voltage range. Same cartridge compatibility. If you are choosing between them based on performance, you are choosing between two formats of the same machine — not two different machines.

Choose REVO If…
- You prefer a full-size machine with more grip surface
- You work long sessions and want maximum battery in one unit (up to 12h)
- You are used to traditional pen machine proportions
- You want the heaviest weight options (up to 260g with steel grip)
Choose REVO SHOT If…
- You have smaller hands or prefer a compact machine
- You work in tight spaces — behind the ear, hands, feet, neck
- You prefer swapping batteries over waiting for a charge
- You want the lightest base configuration (150g)
- Your style is precision-dominant — fine line, realism, detail work
- You are already carrying a full equipment bag and want to minimise weight
On Battery Life — The Real Answer
REVO’s single 2,600 mAh battery lasts up to 12 hours. REVO SHOT’s 1,600 mAh battery lasts up to 5 hours — but ships with two batteries and a dual charger. In practice, a REVO SHOT artist swaps the battery mid-day and keeps working. Total available runtime is equivalent. The difference is whether you prefer one long battery or two shorter ones.
What is the difference between REVO and REVO SHOT?
REVO SHOT is 15mm shorter and lighter than REVO. Both use the identical K-PULSE™ drive system, GIVE Switch, and Motor Guard. REVO has a single larger battery (2,600 mAh, up to 12h). REVO SHOT ships with two smaller batteries (1,600 mAh each) and a dual charger. Performance is identical — the choice is about physical format.
Is REVO SHOT good for lining?
Yes. REVO SHOT uses the same K-PULSE™ drive as REVO. With GIVE Switch set to GIVE ON, it delivers the same sharp, consistent lining performance. Artists working on fine-line and detail work often prefer REVO SHOT for its compact size and lighter weight.
Which is better for large magnums — REVO or REVO SHOT?
Both handle large magnums effectively. The K-PULSE™ drive maintains punch consistency under high load in both machines. The choice between them for magnum work comes down to personal preference for size and weight, not performance difference.
Is REVO SHOT cheaper because it is lower quality?
No. REVO SHOT is €50 less than REVO because it uses a smaller battery and shorter body — not because of any reduction in drive system quality. The K-PULSE™ mechanism, GIVE Switch, Motor Guard, and build standards are identical.
Which machine is better for beginners?
Both are equally suitable. REVO SHOT’s lighter weight and compact size can make it easier to hold for extended sessions during the learning phase. REVO’s larger format may feel more familiar to artists coming from traditional pen machines.
Can I buy extra batteries for REVO SHOT?
Yes. REVO SHOT batteries are available separately. The dual charger included in the kit means you can charge two simultaneously while working.
‘Both ship from Wrocław. Both are hand-assembled. Both come with the same 30-day return window.’
