Accionamiento K-PULSE™ - Cómo funciona

Accionamiento K-PULSE

Una nueva categoría de accionamiento de máquinas

No accionamiento directo.

No compensa. Simplemente funciona.

Golpe consistente bajo carga

GIVE Switch

Two mechanical modes built into every REVO. Switch mid-session — hold + and − simultaneously for 2 seconds. No tools. No disassembly.

DAR

Full K-PULSE™ character

Sharper, more concentrated hit at penetration. The machine responds to skin resistance with tactile feedback.

Best for: lining, fine detail, realism, depth-sensitive work

REGALO

Smooth, sustained push

Less snap, more consistent forward pressure through the stroke. Pushes through resistance without concentrated impact.

Best for: solid colour packing, large magnums, whipshading

Standard on all new REVO units. Already own a REVO? Contact us to arrange a firmware update.

MOTOR GUARD

Active stall protection

If the motor stalls, power cuts within 1 second. Motor survives. Restart and continue. Always active — no setup required.

K-PULSE™ — Frequently Asked Questions

What is K-PULSE™ drive?

K-PULSE™ is a tattoo machine drive system developed by RightStuff over 2.5 years and 50+ prototypes. It is a distinct mechanical category — not direct drive, not swash plate. Utility patent filed. K-PULSE™ is the drive system inside every REVO and REVO SHOT wireless tattoo machine.

How is K-PULSE™ different from direct drive or swash plate?

Direct drive and swash plate machines share a common limitation: needle movement is mechanically coupled to motor load. When the needle hits resistance, the stroke degrades. K-PULSE™ separates the drive impulse from the needle return path, which means the needle holds consistent force regardless of skin resistance. The practical result is consistent hit under heavy load — large magnums, color packing, and saturated skin where conventional drives slow down or choke.

Does K-PULSE™ need maintenance or oiling?

No. K-PULSE™ is a sealed system. There is no scheduled maintenance, no oiling, and no user-serviceable components inside the drive. Wipe down the exterior between sessions, charge the battery, and tattoo. If something fails, the machine returns to RightStuff in Wrocław for service — every machine is hand-assembled and serviced by the same team.

Is K-PULSE™ compatible with all standard cartridges?

Yes. REVO and REVO SHOT machines accept all standard cartridge needle systems — Cheyenne, Kwadron, Vertix, EZ Filter, and other major brands. There is no proprietary cartridge requirement.

Which RightStuff machines use K-PULSE™ drive?

Every REVO and REVO SHOT wireless tattoo machine ships with the K-PULSE™ drive system. The drive is identical in both machines — REVO is the full-size flagship (112.5mm, 2,600 mAh battery), REVO SHOT is the compact version (98.5mm, 1,600 mAh battery). Both machines also include the GIVE Switch and Motor Guard as standard.

What is the GIVE Switch and how do I activate it?

The GIVE Switch is a mechanical mode change built into every REVO. It toggles between two distinct mechanical feels — GIVE ON for sharper, concentrated hit (lining, fine detail, realism) and GIVE OFF for smooth, sustained push (color packing, large magnums, whipshading). To activate, hold the + and − buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds. No tools, no disassembly. The mode change is fully mechanical and persists until you switch back. Existing REVO owners can send their machine in for a firmware update to enable the GIVE Switch.

Does K-PULSE™ have zero RPM drop under load?

No. We will not make that claim. Every rotary motor — including K-PULSE™ — slows slightly under heavy load. That is basic physics, and any brand claiming "zero RPM drop" is being dishonest. What K-PULSE™ does differently is hold punch consistency even when motor RPM dips. The Magnetic Preload system stabilizes hit integrity, so the needle delivers consistent force on the skin even if the motor slows by a small amount.

Is K-PULSE™ patented?

Utility patent is filed. The patent covers a tattooing apparatus with linear drive mechanism, magnetic stabilization, and dynamic acceleration recess. Full technical details will be published when the patent publishes (currently expected late 2026). Until then, public-facing content describes outcomes — what artists notice on the skin — rather than internal mechanism specifics.

How much does a REVO with K-PULSE™ drive cost?

The REVO starts at €700 for the standard configuration with aluminum grip, €715 with steel grip, and goes up to €765 for fully color-customized with steel grip. The compact REVO SHOT starts at €650. Both machines include K-PULSE™ drive, GIVE Switch, Motor Guard, two batteries, dual charger, USB-C cable, and case. All machines are hand-assembled in Wrocław, Poland.

Can I try a REVO before committing?

Every REVO ships with a 30-day return window for unused machines. Manufacturer demos are not currently offered, but the return policy reduces the risk of buying without trying. The most reliable way to evaluate the machine in advance is to find an artist using one — DM them on Instagram and ask for honest feedback. The tattoo community is generally generous with real opinions.
