Dans la p\u00e9riode classique gothique, les expressions \u00e9taient utilis\u00e9es pour identifier les personnes vuln\u00e9rables, elles \u00e9taient utilis\u00e9es pour marquer les peaux et les cheveux, le terme pour ces images \u00e9tait Stigma (Goffman 1963). Il est \u00e9galement important de noter que les gladiateurs et les soldats ont acquis des comp\u00e9tences dans le domaine de l'image, ce qui leur permet d'avoir une image diff\u00e9rente de celle des autres. Au d\u00e9but de l'histoire de Constantin et de l'av\u00e8nement du Christ, les armes \u00e0 feu ont \u00e9t\u00e9 interdites.
